Can I send my item in for engraving?
Yes. After a short chat you can send your item to sofortgravur.at, Josefstädter Straße 58, 1080 Vienna. We engrave it and send it back securely packed.
What does shipping cost?
Return shipping within Austria costs 4.90 euros and goes out as an express service delivered within 24 hours of dispatch, tracking included. Shipping costs are paid by the customer. You arrange the shipping to us yourself.
How long does engraving by post take?
The engraving itself usually takes only minutes. After engraving, your item goes out by express and is delivered within 24 hours. The total time therefore depends mainly on how quickly your parcel reaches us.
Why should I ask first instead of just sending it?
So you do not pay postage for nothing. In a short chat we check whether your object works in terms of size and material, and what the engraving costs. A photo on WhatsApp is usually enough.
What does engraving by post cost?
The same as in the shop: single engravings start at 20 euros, a standard text engraving costs 25 euros flat, logo and photo engravings start at around 35 euros. On top of that come 4.90 euros for return shipping within Austria.
Which objects can I send in?
Anything that also works in the shop: height or diameter up to 15 cm, length and width do not matter. Small, robust objects such as jewellery, pendants, cases and lighters are particularly well suited.
How should I pack my item?
Carefully padded and in a sturdy box. In our experience, more happens in the post than during the engraving itself. For valuable objects we recommend an insured shipping method.
Can I also send from Germany or Switzerland?
In principle, yes. The 4.90 euros apply to return shipping within Austria; for other countries we agree the shipping costs with you in advance.
