Why laser engraving — and not print or foil?
A laser engraving changes the surface of the material itself. That is exactly why it is permanent: there is no layer of paint that could peel and no print that could disappear in the dishwasher. What is engraved once, stays.
Then there is the precision. The beam works hair-fine — delicate lettering, logos with thin lines and detailed motifs come out cleanly, even on small surfaces. And because the process is contact-free, your object is neither clamped nor scratched.

Which materials can you laser engrave in Vienna?
We engrave wood, glass, metal, leather, cork, stone and slate, among others, plus various special materials — directly in our shop at Josefstädter Straße 58, 1080 Vienna.
Is a laser engraving permanent?
Yes. The engraving changes the material surface itself and is therefore permanent — unlike print or foil it cannot peel off or fade. The dishwasher does not bother it either.
How long does a laser engraving take?
The engraving itself usually takes less than five minutes. Including advice and layout you are normally done within 5–15 minutes and take your item with you.
What does laser engraving cost in Vienna?
Single engravings at sofortgravur.at start at 20 euros. A standard text engraving costs 25 euros flat, regardless of the number of characters. Logo and photo engravings start at around 35 euros, series at 2.50 euros per piece.
Can I bring my own object for laser engraving?
Yes, that is our core offer. Simply bring your object without an appointment — height or diameter up to 15 cm, length and width do not matter.
Does the laser need a specific template?
Not for text — we set that up on site. For logos and graphics a vector file is ideal; a good photo of the template is enough for a first assessment.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Not for single engravings. Just come by during opening hours. For larger series, get in touch beforehand so we can plan the time.
