Questions about the price
How much does an engraving cost in Vienna?
Most single engravings at sofortgravur.at cost between 20 and 25 euros. A standard text engraving costs 25 euros flat, regardless of the number of characters. Very small engravings start at 20 euros.
Does more text make it more expensive?
No. The standard engraving is a flat price — three letters or a whole sentence makes no difference to the price.
Does a logo cost more than a name?
Yes. Logos, crests and graphics have to be prepared for the laser; such engravings start at around 35 euros. We tell you the exact price before we begin.
What does a photo engraving cost?
That depends on the original, the material and the size. Send us the photo on WhatsApp beforehand — we will tell you how it will look and what it costs.
Does engraving an item I bring myself cost more?
No. Whether you bring your own object or pick one from our range makes no difference to the engraving price.
Are there any extra costs?
You get the full price before the engraving begins. Elaborate graphic or image editing is only done after checking with you first.
Are there volume discounts?
Yes. Series start at 2.50 euros per piece. The scale depends on quantity, object and design.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Not for single engravings. Just come by during opening hours. For larger series, get in touch beforehand so we can plan the time.
